The advent of spring
The snow which covered mountains become thaw, and the winter season will be done then we welcome early spring. Its wait impatiently season for the wild monkey.
The excrements of the monkey on the snow are figured a spit dumpling, which like adulterate sawdust and fiber, because of the monkey eats some kinds of rind and bud mainly.
When the sunlight is getting much, the river become muddy of melting snow, and the ground gets extent from the foot of a mountain, the excrements of the monkey soon become like people.
Needless to say, it is smaller though. The smell become like the excrement of the horse, and the color is getting green. Because the wild monkey start eating young sprouts, young leaves, young weeds as the trees are beginning to bud.
Spring has come for the excrements of the monkey.
Main food for the monkey at the beginning of spring is young leaves, young sprouts, young weeds, flower and flower buds. Specially, they prefer to eat buds, young leaves of beech, spicebush, maple, and elm. Flowers and flower buds are soft and sweet, so it is very delicious for the wild monkey. Probably these foods are very nourishing. Unexpectedly, the monkey eats stone fruits too.
The stone-fruits blooms brightly in a mountain like cherry blossom that people see for celebrate early spring. Monkeys like flower buds, so they climb trees when flower buds getting come out, and they pull off red sweet buds to eat. Monkeys eat them really appetizing, so I tried to eat them. I boiled them and mixed with vinegar. Unfortunately it was too bitter to eat.
Spring, which has many delicious foods, is good season for the wild monkey. It is different from long winter that monkeys have to eat rinds to keep off hunger. Monkeys are in a leisurely atmosphere with mild spring sunlight. They enter a time to birth presently.
